智慧能源创新学院位于上海交通大学闵行校区,学院围绕国家“双碳”目标和新型能源系统构建,集人才培养、科学研究、成果转化为一体,为我国实现“碳达峰”“碳中和”目标提供有力的科技和人才支撑。
学院拥有高水平全职教师44人,高级职称教师32人,其中中国工程院院士1人,入选国家级人才计划专家15人次,入选上海市人才计划专家31人次。学院成功获批国内首个“智慧能源工程”本科专业并于2022年开始招生,现有在读本科生262人,硕博士(含全日制、非全日制)265人。目前,学院正在重点建设“AI+能源”本科专业,构建“处处皆AI”的智能化学习生态系统,建设学院智慧能源数字化教学平台,打造虚拟电厂仿真模拟实践教学平台,构建“AI+能源”的教学大模型,推动智慧能源领域的教育深化改革。
学院牵头承担上海高校Ⅳ类高峰高原学科“上海非碳基能源转换与利用研究院”建设和国家能源局“十四五”第一批国家能源研发创新平台建设项目“数字化低碳能源系统重点实验室”,以国家重大需求为导向,开展非碳基能源转换与利用和智慧能源研究,承担了国家自然基金重大、重点项目,国家重点研发计划项目,上海市重大科技专项等一大批国家和地方重要项目,近五年来获得省部级及以上奖励十余项。上海交通大学依托学院与国家电投集团共同设立“未来能源计划”基金,聚焦未来能源前瞻性变革性技术,为我国能源绿色转型提供科技支撑。
依托130余亩独立园区与22栋主要建筑,学院倾力打造了智慧能源示范校园。智慧能源校园建设采用“3+3+X”的总体框架,涵盖3个能源系统基础项目:光伏发电系统的建设、热源热泵的安装应用和配电网络的升级扩容,3个前瞻性科研平台:智慧能源数字化平台、虚拟电厂仿真模拟平台和直流微电网系统,以及占地近2500平方米的“X”项目:能源广场,能源广场集“教学—科研—验证—迭代—应用”为一体,是上海交通大学能源领域最新科研技术的集中展示平台。目前,智慧能源校园建设支撑了国家储能技术产教融合创新平台、上海市IV类高峰高原学科和上海市新型储能测试基地科研测试中心建设。

College of Smart Energy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University is Recruiting Academic Faculty at Home and Abroad!
Located at Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Minhang Campus, the College of Smart Energy integrates talent cultivation, scientific research, and technology transfer to support China's "Dual Carbon" goals (peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality) and the development of a new energy system.
CSE boasts 44 full-time faculty members, including 32 with senior professional titles, 1 member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 15 national-level talent program awardees, and 31 Shanghai-level talent program awardees. In 2022, CSE launched China's first "Smart Energy Engineering" undergraduate program, currently enrolling 262 undergraduates and 265 master's/doctoral students (full-time and part-time). CSE is now pioneering an "AI + Energy" undergraduate program, aiming at promoting deepening reform in education of smart energy via creating an "AI-infused" intelligent learning ecosystem, and developing a Smart Energy Digital Teaching Platform, a Virtual Power Plant Simulation Lab, and an "AI + Energy" Teaching Model.
CSE spearheads the construction of the "Shanghai Non-Carbon-Based Energy Conversion and Utilization Research Institute," a top-tier discipline project under the Shanghai Higher Education IV-Class Peak and Plateau Discipline Initiative, and the "Key Laboratory of Digital Low-Carbon Energy Systems," a national energy R&D innovation platform project in the first batch of the "14th Five-Year Plan" by the National Energy Administration. Guided by major national needs, the College conducts research on non-carbon-based energy conversion and utilization, as well as smart energy, and has undertaken a significant number of national and local key projects, including major and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, national key R&D programs, and major Shanghai science and technology initiatives. CSE has been honored with over ten provincial/ministerial-level or national awards in the last five years. In collaboration with the State Power Investment Corporation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has established the "Future Energy Initiative" fund through the College, focusing on forward-looking and transformative technologies for future energy, providing scientific and technological support for China's green energy transition.
Spanning 130 acres with 22 buildings, our campus exemplifies smart energy innovation through a "3+3+X" framework: Three foundational energy projects: Photovoltaic systems, heat pump applications, and grid upgrades. Three cutting-edge research platforms: Smart Energy Digital Platform, Virtual Power Plant Simulation Platform, DC Microgrid System. The "X" project: a 2,500-square-meter Energy Square, integrating "Education – Research – Validation – Iteration – Application" functions, serving as Shanghai Jiao Tong University's flagship showcase for advanced energy technologies. The Smart Energy Campus serves as a key infrastructure supporting the National Energy Storage Technology Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform, Shanghai Higher Education IV-Class Peak and Plateau Discipline Initiative, and Shanghai Advanced Energy Storage Testing Base.
